Program Execution Under the Hood
Program Execution Under the Hood developed by Cognifront. This section has a unique interesting combination of graphics, 2D\3D animation, Interactivity, Voice over and Text to cater to different types of learners. It has very high cognitive value. In this section, a compiled C program for addition of two numbers is given. It also shows the graphical representation of CPU with registers, CU and ALU. The compiled program is converted into assembly language and is stored in the RAM. When the user clicks on RUN button, a console window is displayed. Here, the user enters the two numbers. The two numbers get stored in the RAM via keyboard. Next the assembly code is executed using the Fetch-Decode-Execute Cycle. Finally, the result is displayed on the Console Window. Teachers and students can use mouse to interact with Program Execution. Replay facility is also provided to repeat the animation and voice over.
